Can’t make it to the 4-day institute in Chicago? Start here. In 2 hours online, you take part in a learning simulation with the group, and then I teach The Five Conditions for Learning, the five conditions every brain needs in order to learn. You leave able to look at a learner who seems stuck and ask which condition for learning is not being met.
What we will do together
Two hours, one shared understanding
- A learning simulation. We start by doing something together, so you experience the conditions for learning in your own brain before we name them.
- The Five Conditions for Learning. I teach each one in plain language: How I Function, How I Learn, How I Manage, How I Feel, and What I Do.
- The question to ask. We practice looking at a common struggle and asking which condition for learning is not being met, so you can choose a response that fits the cause.
- The free guide. You leave with the guide to the five conditions, so you can share the same language with your team, your family, or the learners you support.
Simple enough for a student, sophisticated enough for a specialist. Educators, specialists, coaches, parents, and learners 18 and older are all welcome in the same class. Learners 13 to 17 join free when a parent registers.
